The image is, um, well, sexy. Sultry, seductive, sensuous. The way the brow comes down over the eyelid gives the subject a sort of brooding stare that makes you wonder what he's thinking.
The iris is also very interesting--you can see how the side lighting causes internal reflection, like a marble.
